Honeymoon in June
Hi everyone!
Looking for honeymoon recommendations and feeling a bit overwhelmed with options!
We’re planning to go in mid-June 2026 (quite last minute we know but we've struggled to find somewhere for so long) for 7-10 days and have a budget of around £4k total for flights + accommodation. We can fly from either Manchester, Newcastle or Leeds Bradford.
What we’re looking for:
- Relaxing honeymoon vibe rather than full-on sightseeing
- Nice weather and somewhere fairly romantic
- Ideally under 6 hours flight time (have a long-haul in September and partner isn't a great flyer)
- Hotel/resort with a pool and/or honeymoon suite
- Adults-only would be a bonus
- Happy with beach, island or coastal destinations
At the moment we've Mallorca, Greece, and Cape Verde. My partner is quite cautious so anywhere near ongoing/recent conflict wouldn't be ideal
Would love recommendations for:
- Specific destinations
- Hotels/resorts you loved
- Places that felt “special” for a honeymoon without completely blowing the budget
