I'm looking for recommendations how to deal with a dealership issue, I bought a car on a dealership in November last year and bought a new set of winter tires since it was snowing already, swapped the tires on Costco and tried to swap back to the original tires now in April, however the Costco folks noticed a fiber plug on the shoulder on the tire and rightfully refused to swap the tires as the repair should've never been done.

I talked with the salesperson and the dealership, but now they're refusing to do anything about it because there was a gap between the purchased date and the date the tires arrived on Costco, and are claiming that I did the bad repair and left there for 5 months.

Note: The car is a Certified Pre Owner and I also bought extended warranty and additional protection that also covers tires+wheels (but they don't specify the value), there's no reason for them to think that I'm scamming them when I bought all others bells and whistles.

Have anyone dealt with this situation before?

Edit:

It seems like that I'm pretty much on my own, but is there any formal complains that could be done? I can get new tires but it feels like there should be some accountability on the dealership part
