I am writing this because I genuinely believe vulnerable people are being lured into an extremely exploitative system under the promise of fast money and luxury incentives.

This company aggressively recruits young adults, financially struggling individuals, single parents, and people desperate for opportunity by selling a fantasy of fast wealth and “life-changing” money. Recruits are told they can make “5–6 figures” in a single summer. They are encouraged to leave home, pay for their own travel, and commit months of their lives based on promises of huge backend commissions, luxury incentives, ‘free housing’ (not free), and personal growth.

This is the reality.

I met multiple people who had almost no financial cushion:
• single parents trying to feed their children,
• people who used their last dollars to relocate,
• and individuals fresh out of incarceration trying to rebuild their lives honestly and find stability.

Some realized almost immediately that they had made a mistake but could not even afford transportation home after relocating for the job.

The company packs large groups of strangers (with no background check) into crowded shared housing while charging each individual approximately $700–$1,100 per month. 5 or more people are living in the same house, meaning the company collects thousands upon thousands of dollars monthly from just a single property.

Despite housing being advertised as free for the first month, recruits are still pursued for the full duration of rent obligations even if they leave after only days. If it’s not paid, recruits are threatened with legal action. This alone totals thousands of dollars.

I personally witnessed people who stayed in housing for less than one week being threatened with lawyers, collections, and small claims court over thousands of dollars in future rent obligations.

The company’s position was essentially:
“You committed, so you owe us months of rent whether you stay or not.”

Reps are trained using scripts that present services as “safe for kids and pets,” “organic,” and harmless in ways that many of us later became deeply uncomfortable with after learning about the chemicals in their products. I personally spoke to a customer whose cat was killed by the chemicals used (chrysanthemum crystals).

We were also incentivized with money to memorize and repeat these scripts despite concerns many of us had about accuracy.

Although reps are classified as 1099 independent contractors, the actual working conditions resemble controlled employment:
• mandatory meetings,
• enforced schedules,
• production quotas,
• appearance requirements,
• script expectations,
• supervision,
• and behavioral control.

At the same time, the company avoids the obligations normally associated with W-2 employment while shifting nearly all financial risk onto the reps themselves.

Backend commissions (the money recruits are promised will supposedly change their lives) are heavily conditional. Reps may lose large portions or all of expected earnings after already sacrificing months of door to door labor.

And the customer complaints publicly available online should concern anyone considering involvement with this company.

The Better Business Bureau complaints regarding Prime Pest and Lawn repeatedly mention:
• customers allegedly being unable to cancel,
• ongoing billing after cancellation attempts,
• misleading promotional offers,
• and confusion about what customers actually agreed to purchase.

Reps were told by CEO Paul that they could earn money for leaving 5-star reviews and for getting friends and family members to leave positive reviews as well. We were told we could receive approximately $5 per 5-star review. That immediately raises concerns regarding the authenticity of the company’s online reputation and review ecosystem.

This environment creates a dangerous combination:
• vulnerable recruits,
• aggressive financial promises,
• misleading sales framing,
• overcrowded housing,
• financial threats tied to contracts,
• and customers who often do not appear to fully understand what they are signing.

People deserve full transparency before uprooting their lives for a company operating this way.
