As stated above, I don't know if it's worth the risk. I am also advised that the injection is a steroid mixed with lidocaine. I am very allergic to lidocaine. Would I be better just wearing a finger support? I am 72 years old with a heart condition. They give the shot without anaesthetic, as well. Anyone with experience.if this? Did it negatively affect you?
