I inherited this painting from my Grandmother and have always loved it. She told me a local friend painted her house when she was a child and gave it to her. I am guessing he was a local artist then. It’s special no matter what but I’m curious if “Sawyer” (I think) ever became more known. She grew up in Rockland County, New York. Has anyone seen anything from an artist by that name or other bodies of his work?
