This is very embarrassing.
The atomizer on my Dries Van Noten Soie Malaquais broke about a year ago. I went through a phase of hardly wearing perfume and put off trying to replace the atomizer/decant the juice. Now that I'm back to wearing my perfumes daily, I finally decided to take care of this till I discovered almost half the juice evaporated 💀 I only wear this on special occasions yet the dent is bigger than my most worn perfumes. Didn't think about the fact that perfume is alcohol based and can evaporate if the seal isn't air tight despite being stored in a cool dark environment with the lid on 🤡
I'm not delusional enough to expect dvn to send me any freebies because this is obviously my own stupid fault, but I did email them asking for guidance/solutions. I purchased it from Selfridges so I'll reach out to them as well. In the meantime, what is the best course of action to take? Just decant it? Replace the atomizer? Pray that the perfume fairy magically gifts me a new bottle? Dvn has 200 ml refills that come with a special key but I can't spend another $400.
