I never thought I’d post here until after I was gone from this job but I just took a call from someone saying they’re calling hotels all over the country so I’m getting the word out.
I guess it’s Fraternity/Sorority pledge season and this guy just called about a “torture” these Sorority girls were going to put him through. It started out “feet or period” and I should have put on my adult voice and put a stop to it there but I don’t want my boss to catch me hanging up on a caller so I play along. Friends, it devolved into him talking about sucking someone’s used pad or tampon before I go “does any of this have anything to do with our Hotel” and hang up when he doubles down. I could have played it off like it was a telemarketer. I SHOULD have played it off like it was a telemarketer. Now I am skeeved out and worried for all my other front desk warriors out there.
