Missed Doses and chest weakness

Hey all. Writing this to ask for advice and thoughts.

I’m a trans woman using a Spirolactone variant, the brand Aldactone, at 50mg in the morning and night, 100mg across a day. I chose it because economically it was the most efficient for beginning my journey as it’s through the realm of DIYHRT, which I’ve been mostly guided through by friends; my state in America is a bit touchy about trans people… existing, atm.

That said, writing in with some concerns.

I’ve noticed over the last few weeks on days I miss my ‘morning’ dose of 10-11 pm, I’ve faced some chest tightness and difficulty breathing compared to others, as well as migraines resulting from lack of use… are all of these just considered to be as withdrawal effects, or, is this something worth asking about? I don’t want to discuss the ethics of DIYHRT, I’m writing about if a longterm dependency will result;

While looking for work, I plan to eventually swap Bicalumatide as a androgen blocker, but am unable to sustain it price wise at the moment, and my nest delivery is on its way, but is not the most speedy of sellers, with about a week and a half left of medications, and the idea of trying to hide the sudden tightness and other issues from my family worst case scenario sounds like a small nightmare.

Should I be concerned about the effects of being weened off it suddenly, or should I attempt to lower daily doses to prepare in case of a delivery failure?
