I'm picking up many hobbies now and I'm heading towards journaling BUT

What purpose does it serve for you guys? Why do you journal?

My life isn't THAT exciting to deserve a paper (it's optimal but nothing outstanding)

My job doesn't require creativity so I don't have thoughts about ideas tied to it etc.

I'm centered with my feelings, I understand why I feel certain ways.

Also my career path is pretty straight forward + for business I'd just use excel it's more convenient.

I'd love to try it but as I explained I have no idea what purpose it would serve etc.
