I’m an incoming first year college and i know it’s a blessing to have an opportunity to become a doctor at just 25 with APmed but knowing me, i just really want to start slowly lang.

For me, I know how stressful APmed is it’s a 7 year med program and personally in my senior high life i wasn’t able to like “really enjoy it” since it was just all studying 24/7 and all th fun events we really had was just the intramurals week unlike other schools and for me naman i also want to experience atleast a fun school life + also balancing doing good in studies.

For starters, I’m going to apply for reconsideration for UST biochemistry which my parents are very against because they want me to take up APmed or atleast if pre med, nursing which is confusing because I want to become a surgeon (not sure which kind most likely neurosurgeon or general surgeon) and personally i find biochemistry the best pre med course asides from medical biology since of course it’s a course itself rather than the subject itself and i consulted a lot of biochem majors in UST and they said it’s good overall but my parents are super close minded.

Helpp me guys :( I’m already 18 and can’t make my own decisions I don’t wanna live a college life I will regret… I don’t wanna APmed knowing ill probably do something stupid in such a pressuring course i just want baby steps lang..

OKAY! so! failing the entrance exam isn’t really “the end” and i can apply for reconsideration so i gotta email the school and stuff and submit my grades from highschool 🥲i manifested that i would pass the exam actually and i did it for 3 months straight but still failed :( .. help me guys…!
