I am from India, where corruption is common and public spaces are often dirty. Civic sense is low, and many people still believe in superstition. Critical thinking seems to be declining, while some self-styled gurus exploit people without much accountability. Trust in institutions, the media, and even official data has weakened.

The economy is under pressure. Prices are rising, jobs are not growing fast enough, and many people are stuck in low-paying or unstable work. The gap between the rich and the poor is increasing, and unfair advantages for a few make it harder for others to progress.

Public services also struggle. Schools do not always provide quality education, and healthcare is not easily accessible or affordable for everyone. Cities face traffic, pollution, poor planning, and water shortages. Environmental issues and waste management are not handled well.

There are also serious social concerns. False information spreads easily, people are becoming more divided, and fewer women are part of the workforce. Crimes against women and children remain a major issue.

Overall, there seems to be a growing disconnect between what is expected and what people experience in their daily lives. Sad story of today’s India. 😔
