Has anyone put in a cat flap while renting? Trying to figure out if I could do this by taking out the back door and replacing it with a door with a cat flap or if there is another way. Thanks for all advice. 🙂
My mentally ill and abusive dad is in the hospital, very sick and, from what I've been told, none of my siblings are visiting him other than my stepmother, his wife. I've been no contact with my whole immediate family since about 2012. My stepmother, who very much enabled the abuse, sent me a message via extended family recently about how sick my dad is and has been for many years and saying I can contact her, which I certainly have not done. Her youngest daughter is severely mentally disabled and can only live independently with help from social services. Having not responded to my stepmother, I've now received a message (also via extended family) from this daughter (my half sister) saying she wants to speak with me. How manipulative is that that she is using her disabled daughter to try to make contact with me and putting my extended family in the middle of this moreover?
My cats think my expensive new dense pile wool loop rugs are scratching posts. They have scratching posts btw. The house largely caters to them. I've ordered a new horizontal scratching post and hopefully they will stop destroying the rugs. Anyone found any other solutions to this?
I can't seem to attach a photo for cat tax. Not sure why.
