Hey everyone,

I’m looking to buy a truck right now, I’ve never bought a car from a dealership before and looking for advice. Not necessarily looking to you know use every single hack out there to manipulate the best price.

Looking for things I should know or go about it.

Like:

What is a bad rate right now

Should I negotiate through email or in store

Preapproval through banks (don’t really understand what that does)

Auction or dealership

Also for getting a truck should I be getting a diesel truck. Is it as worth it as it seems for trucks lasting longer?
