I said I’d come back with my 8 months update soon for you guys, so here I am. Thanks for the interest and all the comments on my last post, I got a lot of questions, mostly about how recovery actually changes over time. So I’ll just focus on what things were like from around the 3-month mark onward.
From around the 3-month mark, things started to look more normal in daily life, but it still didn’t feel like the final result. Most of the visible swelling had gone down, but there was still some underlying tightness, and the lift looked slightly more defined than natural at times.
Between 4 to 6 months, it gradually improved and the tightness reduced a lot, expressions felt more natural, and everything started blending better with the rest of my face. The clinic did mention early on that results would continue settling in till the 6-month mark, as it is seen as the final point of the progress.
Now at around 8 months, everything feels fully settled. The biggest difference compared to earlier stages is how natural it looks and feels, the initial pulled or tight sensation is completely gone, and the results are much more naturally integrated. The lift is still there, especially around the jawline and neck, but it’s more of a subtle, refined contour rather than anything obvious. Looking back, the overall change from 3 to 8 months wasn’t about more lift, but about how much softer and more natural the results became over time.
Now I’m really glad it was a good option for me since I didn’t want anything drastic. It’s not a huge transformation, but it made a noticeable difference in a way that doesn’t stand out.
If you’re considering something like this, I’d say patience during recovery is a big part of it. The changes are gradual and not always obvious at first.
Happy to answer questions if anyone is going through something similar or considering it.
