Title isnt quite right but Im unsure how else to word it orz

Just did a run of the new Alliance raid, when we got to the final fight someone started sending bullet points explaining some of the mechanics.

After the first few points I said "care, some people like going in blind" and essentially got told that if that was an expectation I had I should have put together a PF for a blind run, and that saying anything was "jumping on someone for trying to help."

All I said to prompt that response was what was in the quote, this was not personally my own first run but I would have been sad to have lost the surprise and discovery of new mechanics if it had been, which is why I wanted to be careful of others who felt the same.

I have nothing against explaining mechanics (or having mechanics explained) in general, and if someone had asked for mechanic explanations anyone who wanted to not know had the time to change chat tabs/hide the chat. All I meant was that since its only day 2 of a brand new patch, try to consider the people who wanted to experience the fight fully blind before dropping mechanic explanations unprompted. There was no indicator that they were going to bullet point explain mechanics, meaning anyone who wanted to be blind had to read at least the first major mechanic explained before knowing what was going on.

I have never really had this be an issue before or had people respond like this, and this is not the first alliance raid release I have experienced. I'm worried if I'm being unreasonable with this? The response was so like, instantly visceral I was a bit shocked orz

Edit: Thank you so much for all the input, reading everyones feelings on this has been really helpful! I appreciate you guys taking the time to weigh in \o/
