Small open wound help!

Small open wound help!

Hey guys, I 21F have a bit of a weird one. Back towards the end of March I had what appeared to be two cysts appear on the underside of my right breast. I’m a bit of a bigger girl, and we had just finished the last heatwave of the Australian summer, so I didn’t think much of it beyond just a sweat build up (it happens in humidity iykyk). Anyway, I keep an eye on it and it has only gotten worse since then. The second of the cysts got to about 0.5mm before healing by itself with the measures I took below. However, the one imaged and I’m asking about today clearly didn’t respond the same. At the start, I would do my best to keep the area clean and free of moisture (once again, a bit hard to do in a sweaty and humid environment with its location) and a clean bra every day. Once again, this managed to help one of the cysts heal and close on its own.

However, my current problem is that it’s two months later and the one pictured is just getting worse. The opening went from about .75mm to about 2.5mm at current. It has fluctuated between the end of March and now, but this is by far the worst it has been. Recently, I did start using hydrocolloid bandaids, and I heard that they’re great at creating a second skin to help wounds heal and close, as well as drawing out things such as puss. It has helped with any puss (not that there has been a lot in the last month anyway), but it only seems to be making the wound larger, both width and depth. The red skin around the wound is just from me recently removing the old bandaid to clean and replace. I have done this once a day for about 3 days so far.

So doctors of reddit, what should I do to help this close? Should I keep using these bandaids and see what happens? Should I discontinue?
I have a bit of a history of bad experiences with doctors and hospitals (generally pertaining to misdiagnosis and being fobbed off as an anxious woman), so I have been really avoiding anything until now, but this is a bit hard to turn a blind eye too.

Absolutely any advice is appreciated.
