I've been reading many a news items of retaining wall collapsing and I myself am a bit worried because my building has a retaining wall next to a residential property that has gotten very old and damaged.

It's been worrying me for a long time and think now is the time to get it fixed before the monsoon onset.

I don't want to rely on a local mason as I am unsure if they have the necessary know-how or understanding. Also confused as to who would be the right person and need advice. If you have any direct recommendation that would be even better.
