First time posting.

We’ve had this skinny apple tree for a couple of years. Last year all of the apples were attacked by some sort of insect, they were present from when the apples first appeared. What’s the most effective way to stop bugs eating the apples this year?

Ideally something non toxic to wildlife, and something that makes sense in spring.
