Trying to figure out which MTG proxy source has the best “eye test” quality — BL, USea, or RON?

I’m mainly looking for proxies that are the most passable in sleeves and during normal gameplay.

From what I’ve researched so far:

  • RON seems to use blue core cardstock
  • BL and USea seem to use black core cardstock

I’ve also seen people say real MTG cards use blue core, while black core proxies can sometimes be easier to spot during the light test. But at the same time, others claim black core actually feels better and more durable.

So now I’m confused 😅

For people who have ordered from multiple sellers:

  • Which one has the best quality in general?
  • Which one has the best foils?
  • Is blue core actually better, or is black core higher quality overall?
  • Which seller currently has the best print consistency/colors?

Would appreciate honest opinions from people who’ve compared them side-by-side.
