I was looking for a font, that is similar to Rakuten Serif, so I can sideload it to my other devices, and came across the site of Rakuten Design Lab with some intresting info about their fonts.

Rakuten Font was developed with Dalton Maag, a London-based typeface design studio that has created numerous world-class corporate fonts.
