▲ 30 r/pearls

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some insight on these two pieces I inherited from my great grandmother. She was a business owner and world traveler who had a massive jewelry collection (lots of estate pieces and even some vintage ivory that I’m still trying to figure out the legalities of!).

Pearls aren't really my everyday style, so I’m trying to learn more about these before I decide to look into a trade in/sale.

The Pieces:

Set 1: A triple strand round pearl set. It’s individually knotted on silk with gold wiring ends. The clasp is 14k gold with a small diamond chips.

Set 2: A multi-strand(10) rice pearl necklace. These are actually hand wired with gold wiring. The clasp is a 14k gold bezel set with a pink coral cabochon.

My Questions:

Since these have 14k gold hardware and hand wiring/knotting, what is a safe baseline trade in value I should expect?

Are there specific details about these clasps (the coral or the diamond chips) that I should point out to the jeweler to make sure they aren't just quoting me "scrap" gold prices?

I also have a few vintage ivory pieces with gold from her. I know the legalities are tricky, does anyone have advice on whether jewelers even look at ivory anymore, or should I just keep that separate?

I’ve included photos in two different lightings. Both passed the "tooth test." Any advice on how to handle the trade in process would be amazing!
