I have been back and forth with the dr's for 5yrs. Only when I could go private through work, I could push for an MRI and ultimately a laproscopy.

However, even that was a struggle. Following my MRI, I was told I had a small 2cm cyst that had possible endometriosis but nothing severe was evident. I pushed for a laproscopy because I felt different and the pain each month was debilitating at times.

I'm 3hrs post op, and my surgeon basically told me they found endo everywhere and they couldn't remove it all. I have a follow up on 2 weeks time to discuss my options. The relief of knowing that it wasn't all in my head is infuriating as well as hope for a better future.

Anyway, please keep advocating for yourself, listen to your body and keep pushing for the treatment we all deserve and need.
