Which was Steph's best series: 2019 vs. Portland or 2022 vs. Boston
Obviously the implications of both series are different. One was to send them to the Finals and the other was to win the Finals. But I'm more focused on his performance and consistency in each series.
People say 2022 vs Boston was his best series all things considered and I can see that argument (I probably agree as well), but his 4-game sweep and consistency in every game was ridiculous. It's hard for even the greatest to have consistent high level of play and maintain it in every single game of a series. See G5 vs. Boston.
Anyways, what do you guys think? Series averages below:
2019 vs. Portland: 36.5 PTS / 8.3 REB / 7.3 AST on 47/43/94 (most points ever in a 4-game sweep)
2022 vs. Boston: 31.2 PTS / 6.0 REB / 5.0 AST / 2.0 STL on 48/44/86 (5.2 3s made a game)
On the surface, his stats vs. Portland are clearly superior in every category. Obviously the opponent and circumstances were massively different.
