Looking to buy a set of new tires from Costco and take advantage of the small discount. They recommended the Michelin Defender 2, which is well-reviewed and a good price. For context, I drive a Toyota Avalon in South Carolina and commute about ~22k miles annually for work.
First question: Thoughts on ride quality and sound when traveling 70+ mph in a sedan?
Second: I also need a new spare tire. They recommended I get something cheaper at Walmart or otherwise. Any recommendations there?
