Hi! My fiance and I are in the process of being pre-approved for a mortgage (awesome), however my lease on my car is ending in 3 months (not awesome). At this point, we have only sent him payslips and W-2s, and are awaiting his response. I would love some assistance as to what the best option is for me going forward? It appears that there are not any GREAT moves to be made with the car. Buying it out seems like the biggest no-no, starting a new lease doesn’t seem great either, as well as extending said lease.
I am expecting to hear back from our broker in the next few days. Is this also a conversation that can wait until he “crunches the numbers” or should I reach out to him first?
I would obviously prefer to HAVE a car. What are some opinions on the best next steps to take?
