AMBW Relationships in SoCal? Is there an issue?
I’m 23F Blasian and my boyfriend is Korean. We were at an H-Mart, while he was paying for the items we had picked out the older woman working there had been looking at me like I wasn’t supposed to be there.
I understand Korean very well, but that isn’t normally a guess upon first seeing obviously because the woman blatantly asked if I was his girlfriend. When said yes, she proceeded to ask ‘why? So many pretty Korean girls here.’
I will not disclose my reaction to her comment because I did not handle it in a sophisticated baddie queen way like I should have, and my deepest apologies again to the store. HOWEVER, I genuinely have been insecure about it and now I need to know if there is something I DONT know.
Opinions on AMBW Relationships from AM/BW? (preferred but all opinions welcome!)
Is it a normal experience in more Asian-dominant areas/stores?
Areas where that isn’t an issue? {mixed couples specifically AM + F}
He said it doesn’t bother him but it makes me uncomfortable, just wanted some insight!!
