Is this AI thing taking over our industry
I love art and I like the process of making art, I don't want to prompt anything, and let a computer guess work.
I just want to make art and make money with it, for a while there has been this exchange, use your art for companies that need your art to market their products, which was fair, balanced.
but now AI can do almost anything in the motion design and product Viz world, to survive now you need to do something AI can't do, be so exceptional, like working on complicated precise work, working on something minimalist like a studio render work is looking pointless.
The middle guys are being squished, we all know humans don't care, as long as it's good, fast and cheap we will use it or buy it, we can't rely on the sentiment of "support human artist" that doesn't seem realistic long term.
So I'm asking how are you Artist adjusting to this, is there a motivation to do work so you get hired or are you thinking of switching careers, doing art as a hobby or are you trying to scale you skill to survive this AI take over or am I over reacting.
Thanks for your time.
