VFS Kolkata: Status changed to "Dispatched to Operation Center" for the SECOND time after 1 month (APS Mismatch Case) - Is this a glitch?
Hi everyone, seeking urgent help regarding a VFS tracking update for a German Student Visa (Kolkata jurisdiction). My timeline has been complicated and I need to know if anyone has seen this before.
**My Timeline:**
* **April 2:** Biometrics at VFS Kolkata.
* **April 7:** Received first status: "Your visa application ref no DEU/CCU/xxxxxx has been dispatched to the Operation Center in India for processing."
* **April 16 – 23:** The Consulate called me 3 times about an APS mismatch. My APS was linked to an old passport, but I applied with my new one. They finally said on the 23rd that they established contact with APS India to fix it.
* **May 7:** I received an email/SMS with the EXACT SAME message I got on April 7th: "Your visa application ref no DEU/CCU/xxxxxx has been dispatched to the Operation Center in India for processing."
**My Questions:**
Since this is the exact same phrase from a month ago, is this just a technical glitch in the VFS system where it is looping?
Or does this "repeat" message actually mean the passport has physically left the Consulate and is back at the VFS sorting hub (an exit scan)?
Has anyone else at the Kolkata branch seen this happen right before getting their passport back?
