Diagnosed with mild/moderate OSA from sleep lab study, 18 events/hr. Started CPAP, couldn't get the resulting central apneas and headaches under control, started BIPAP (Resmed Aircurve 11 Vauto, nose pillow). My provider has made changes to the pressures and ramp times, and centrals and headaches are under control but restorative sleep is elusive. I've got no issues with usage, pillow works great and I sleep on my side most of the night, 6 - 6.5 hours before waking up too early and not falling back asleep. I'm just wondering if anyone looks at my numbers and sees anything that might help with my sleep quality. If my BIPAP settings look okay, then I'll know for sure it's due to the insomnia. For that, I've tried different sleep meds, Trazadone helps somewhat, started hormone replacement therapy to see if it will benefit sleep. CBT-I is my next step.
I'm not gonna lie, but trying to make sense of the data, and trying to glean insight from explanations on other posts, is really a challenge. I'm not sure what to provide from OSCAR, but here's my last 3 months.
