I had an episode of TE that started in October and then in January, my hairdresser noticed one very small spot of alopecia. Since than, the hair shedding has stopped and I've noticed some regrowth in the past few weeks. But I have a few more spots of alopecia. I have a referral to a dermatologist but I have no idea idea how long the wait will be. Family doctor prescribed clobetasol that I've been using for about 2 months. Spots aren't getting bigger but they're also not improving. She suggested trying minoxidil but I'm really reluctant to use something long-term, especially now that the shedding has stopped. Considered just using on the alopecia spots but would this still be a forever commitment? Ugh, this is all so frustrating trying to figure out what to do!
