Has anybody ever been cleared through medical waivers with a history of recent antidepressant use?

Background: I’m a critical care/ER registered nurse and want to commission as an officer in the AF Nurse Corps.

I have been taking low dose antidepressants (Wellbutrin and lexapro) for ~2 years but have stopped them this year, no hospitalizations no self harm.

My research and conversations with various military friends/my recruiter pretty much say I must be off meds for at least 24 months. Do I have a fighting chance to get a waiver? I truly believe i have so much to offer and am willing to do everything it takes to get in.
