My 7mo lab mix was spayed on Tuesday. She started oozing from her incision so I rushed her to the vet yesterday. They said the incision is fine, and it’s just oozing. They gave me antibiotics, trazadone, and gabapentin. So to my actual question. They said I can clean the incision with a soft warm wet rag if need be. She is oozing a little bit today as she is still pretty restless but the oozing isn’t that bad in comparison to yesterday. She isn’t looking crusty but I wonder if I should clean it up or if it’s best to just leave as is. I worry touching it will aggravate it more which makes her move around more.
