I was just commenting on another sub and had some thoughts about the new durability.

Epics and Legendaries are definitely more sought after guns now, Epic might have the added benefit of using it as T1 and upgrading it each raid to repair the durability, getting users the most out of the materials.

I think if this is how Embark wants the guns to be balanced, a **Gun Repair kit** should be a new consumable we can add to quick slots, maybe not Utility or Medical slot because one would make Survivor BP even stronger and the other wouldn't make sense with the existing classifications (I'm healing my gun? Tactical Healing BP would be stronger for it lol).

Maybe a Gun Repair Kit is also craftable in the field, and stacks to perhaps 3 per slot, having both could be a bit overtuned but then it could be balanced out by the items needed to craft it. Oil, Mechanical Components, and something else like Simple Gun Parts (I hate to say Springs but it makes sense) would make them ubiquitous enough without needing anything too crazy. It could also be scaled to weapon tiers, so it'd repair common guns better than the epics and Legendaries.

I don't think this should be another blueprint item, but something we unlock via bench upgrades so it's an option for everyone. You could also take more stacks into the field based on how much you want to use your weapons, or for heavy use on your higher tier weapons, whereas grays/greens might do with one stack for a heavy use raid.
