I've always wanted to feed pigeons but I was taught that I'm not supposed to because they're "wild animals", "they're overpopulated", and "they'll forget how to look for food by themselves"

It's also illegal in where I live, and the government made a fine and a bunch of different flyers to advocate against feeding pigeons.

I'm just wondering if all this is actually true, because the stuff I'm seeing when I'm doing my own research is contradicting a lot of the info that I've been taught.

I would LOVE to learn that it's all false propaganda.
