Introducing my OC

Fuzzy is one of the Failed Vessels. His egg landed on the Lifeblood Bulb cliff rather than falling all the way into the Abyss, and thus the Void didn't get as strong a hold on him. It's still there, but tempered. When he hatched, he immediately knew that he had a will and a wish and, most importantly to him, an identity. He has a mouth, though his Mask looks whole when it's closed, utterly seamless. He can speak, but chooses not to for a reason I will explain.
He doesn't go through the Ancient Basin, knowing the Pale King would toss him back into the Abyss. Instead, he tunnels. It's hard, but not impossible. He ends up in Deepnest, and more importantly in the Distant Village. He's found by Herrah trying to climb the wall, but the rocks are far smoother than those in the Abyss so he can't get a good hold. She takes him in, giving him shelter, recognizing him as a child of the Wyrm. In this AU, the Pale King comes with the Dreamer request far earlier, and in this timeline, a slightly different boon is made.
Along with asking for a child to be conceived, Herrah requests that she be able to raise the as of yet unnamed Vessel until the time comes for the main part of the boon to be fulfilled, and PK agrees. Herrah initially gives him the name "Aurelius". She spends the few years before Hornet's conception teaching Aurelius the ways of the Weavers. She teaches him how to focus Soul into Silk, its more powerful and potent form. He learns the language of the Deep Creatures, the chitters and chirps and whistles and finds the Weaversong charm. After Hornet's birth, Herrah explains to Aurelius that she has perhaps a year left before she must go into her eternal slumber and makes him promise on all the Higher Beings to protect his little sister.
After Herrah becomes a Dreamer, Hornet and Aurelius, renamed Fuzzy by Vespa, partially joking at first, but it eventually stuck because just like in canon, Vespa and Herrah were good friends and it brought Vespa great pain to say "Aurelius". Fuzzy ends up taking his original name as a middle name. He and Hornet both get Needles, and Vespa teaches them to sting. They end up able to best her during spars because they work amazingly in tandem.
Then, at their time with the White Lady, she recognizes Fuzzy as one of her own children, though PK always refers to Fuzzy as "Herrah's son" and generally tries to avoid interacting with Hornet and Fuzzy. The White Lady genuinely cares about Fuzzy and repeatedly tries to get PK to acknowledge Hornet and Fuzzy as the Gendered Children, but eventually gives up because PK is the most stubborn little man. Fuzzy enjoys his time with his mother and is never far from Hornet's side. Shortly before leaving the White Palace, the Void starts trying to take control of Fuzzy, making him sick a lot. Fuzzy ends up getting Isma's blessing while there.
They journey up to the Howling Cliffs because Herrah had told of legends of the Grimm Troupe, of how Grimm always has an extra flame, and that the godly flame has the power to somewhat counteract the Void. They get a Dream Nail and light the Nightmare Lantern. Once with the Troupe, they ask Grimm if they can have the extra flame, and he (surprisingly) agrees without making some dangerous deal, though Brumm does paint Troupe marks onto Fuzzy's Mask. He doesn't mind. He thinks he looks cute.
Before leaving Dirtmouth, Hornet fashions a little bow for Fuzzy. It is his most prized possession. Then, for the good few centuries before Little Ghost returns, they both act as guards for the dying Kingdom, never straying far from each other. After Ghost slays Radiance, they are left with just each other, sad that both their siblings had to die to defeat one sad goddess that couldn't heal. When Hornet gets captured, Fuzzy chases after her kidnappers. They keep killing him, but he is functionally immortal, and eventually, they just shove him in the cage with Hornet. When Lace frees Hornet, she also frees Fuzzy, but they fall into two parts of Moss Grotto. He is scared and alone and it takes him longer to get to Bone Bottom. By the time he reaches Bone Bottom, Hornet is well into the Marrow. And that's where I'm leaving this. This is his lore up to now.
