Need a cinephile friend to make a movie
I'm desperately trying to find someone between the age of 18-25 living in Trivandrum to make an independent found footage film that I'm planning to submit to iffk along with other platforms. The film is extremely small-scale and intimate, built around only two characters and focused heavily on atmosphere, natural conversations, emotional realism, and psychological tension rather than traditional horror. I’ll be playing one of the two characters myself.
This is a completely self-financed passion project that’s being made independently without a production crew or studio backing, just two people coming together to genuinely make a film. Because of that, I’m mainly looking for someone who’s passionate about cinema, open to collaboration, and interested in creating something personal and visually memorable rather than something commercial.
The role involves a lot of dialogue-heavy scenes, quiet emotional moments, and strong screen presence, so natural acting matters much more to me than prior experience.
