Hi. I am asking this as someone from a third world country whose dream school is MIT. I’m in my last year of highschool now and I’m really worried because I didn’t take part in any IMO or I did nothing significant during highschool (as I heard MIT requires crazy extracurricular activities). I want to know if it’s too late for me to start preparing for MIT after highschool? I know MIT requires crazily high academic marks. But right now, I am more worried about extracurricular activities. (And my parents won’t let me take part in any competitions or extracurricular activities since I’m in my last year of highschool). If it’s not too late yet, can you all give me some advices on what kind of extracurricular activities should I do after highschool?
