I'm just starting out practicing and really want to learn more about the foundations of witchcraft and practicing, things that came before the very modern approaches that seem to revolve far more around intentionality than anything. I was hoping people might have some recommendations for good and credible sources to start learning about history and foundation that they themselves enjoy having as a reference or think would be good for someone just starting out? I've obviously done some research and googling of my own but wanted to see if there was anyone willing to give me first hand opinions/recommendations on this.
