Hello all,

I'm the child of two expats (M21). I moved from my home country at 15. Since then, my family has lived in the Middle East. I live in a different country from my family, however.

I'm about to finish university and am dealing with the possibility of being compelled to leave said country because I don't know if I can get authorization to work. I've been a mess for the past month trying to figure this out because I don't want to go back the US.

How did other expat children deal with the instability of visas etc? It feels like a lot to deal with and I have no idea what I am doing.

Expat parents, did you ever think of how moving would effect your children? How did you help them deal with it?
