I know this is before after whatever but I figured the after pictures are more important because I'm not quite there yet 😅 I'm 21, 163cm (5'4) and currently weigh 57kg (125lbs). I've lost 6kg (13lbs) since January eating 1400-1500 calories a day and doing workouts. I had (and still have) very low muscle mass because I've never done any type of sport my entire life and walked maybe 4k-6k steps on average, so my general fitness was extremely bad. I gained a tiny bit of muscle by doing home workouts since January and have gotten fitter in general. Right now I'm eating 1800 a day and really want to build muscle (I've joined a gym now) but I'm unsure how many calories i should eat. Do I have to eat in a surplus? I'm a bit reluctant to gain back fat because I tried hard to lose it. Is 1800 (what I assume is my maintenance) enough and does body recomp actually work? And 90-100g of protein? I really struggle to get a lot of protein in and often eat too many carbs.
