Hey guys, I could use advice and ideas. I've had a strong interest in building a local system but I haven't had the hardware to support it. That will change in a few days when I have a new MacBook Pro arriving (specs below). I feel like a kid in a candy store with no idea where to begin.

What would be the first 5 things you would do with a new machine like this for a newcomer to Local LLM?

Specs: MacBook Pro, M5 Max Chip, 18-core CPU, 40-core GPU, 128GB Unified Memory, 4TB SSD Storage
