I’m planning my first 3.5” build and just wanted to get a sanity check before I pull the trigger. I’ve been going back and forth with chat gpt on parts and availability and ended up with this list so far.
Goal is a 4S setup and ideally sub-250g.
Current parts:
- FlyFish Volador VX3.5 O4 frame
- SpeedyBee F405 AIO 40A
- Radiomaster RP1 V2 ELRS
- DJI O4 Air Unit (Lite)
- VIFLY Short Saver 2
- VIFLY Finder 2 buzzer
Motors still undecided — I’ve been suggested 1505 ~3600KV for 4S. Does that make sense for this kind of build or would you go a different route?
For context, I’ve got around 40 hours in sim, been flying a Meteor75 Pro (indoor + parks/open spaces) and a Defender 20.
Just want to make sure I’m not heading in the wrong direction before I order everything.
