best Polaroid for a beginner in 2026?

I’m asking here instead of Google because I’d rather hear real opinions from actual people. But which of the newer Polaroid cameras do you think are the best and most reliable when it comes to quality and actually getting good pictures consistently?

And if you’re not really a fan of the newer ones, what are some others you’d recommend instead? I’ve been looking at both the Impulse and the Impulse AF, so if anyone knows anything about those two cameras I’d like second opinions!

I’m a complete beginner and honestly just want something simple that I can point and shoot without needing to know a ton about photography. Nothing super fancy just something easy to use, reliable, and worth the money. I would like to hear what you all personally recommend!

(Before anyone asks, I am also looking into Instax cameras since I know a lot of people prefer those when it comes to affordability and quality. But I’d like to know about Polaroids specifically!)

which camera would be the best option?

Hello! I’m currently looking into buying a camera, and I’ve been going back and forth between an Instax and a Polaroid. As far as Polaroid cameras go, I’ve been looking at both the Polaroid Now Gen 3 and the Polaroid Impulse. I’ve heard good things about both, and I like the way the photos look with both of these cameras. I was thinking about maybe buying both eventually, but I wanted to hear some second opinions on which camera is better overall. I also wanted to ask which Polaroid camera, in general, would give me the best results while having a bigger photo size since I’m not necessarily 100% set on either of these. (I’m really not a fan of mini photos 😭). If I do go with Polaroid, I want to know which camera would be the most worth it and give me the best overall results.

which camera should I get?

Hey! I’m currently looking into buying a camera, and I’ve been going back and forth between an Instax and a Polaroid. From what I’ve heard, Instax cameras seem a bit more reliable and have more advantages overall, like cheaper film, for example. So I’m kind of leaning more toward Instax. My problem is that I’m not sure which Instax camera I should go for. I’ve been looking at the Instax SQ6 and the SQ1 because I’ve seen good things about both and I know for sure that I don’t want a Mini I definitely want bigger photos. I’m not 100% set on either of these cameras, I’d just like recommendations in general on which Instax camera (wide or square) would be the better option in terms of quality and getting my money’s worth.
