Hey everyone,

I'm having a really hard time in choosing between the two. I will be working with this single monitor and my laptop underneath it. I am a software engineer, 90% of the time I will probably use just an IDE and a browser besides it. Occasionally another random window.

Anything messaging, email, music etc. will be on the laptop.

I don't need super tall monitor for code, which makes me look into ultrawide for that extra window when necessary (or just bigger windows when in split screen)

But I looked at a ultrawide monitor in store and it's just weird for me :)). Also for Youtube it would have those big black bars so that's a minus.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I won't use it for gaming. Only work basically
