25M, been a network engineer at a large public sector org for 1.5yrs now. I have CCNP Enterprise, PCNSE, and I'm working on my CCNP Automation (also have BSc Comp Sci if that's even relevant lol). I'm obsessed with networks at the moment, I study everyday and love my job.

However, I am struggling to pick a specialty. What would my time be best invested in? Should I go all-in automation, as IaC seems to be the future?

I am very ambitious, would love to work for a huge enterprise/FinTech/FAANG some day.
