Hi all first time posting. Just got myself a brand new in box 14 inch M1 Pro (2021) off eBay. All seems legit it was factory sealed still had the wrap on the Mac itself but the Battery says it needs a service. It doesn’t hold any charge so when I unplug the MagSafe it powers off. I’ve updated to the latest MacOS hoping that would fix it but still no luck. I’ve asked Gemini and it recommended a slow trickle charge for 4-12 hours as it’s been in storage for 5 years. Is this a likely fix? Just want to see if anyone else has ever experienced this?
