Hey friends,

I booked a flight for early October - November. The first two weeks I’m with my elderly aunt and uncle and they paid for us to go on a guided tour of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, with another city in there that I’m not sure. After that, my uncle and I will remain in Kyoto and explore and have fun for two weeks.

What are some decent places to stay for hotels or rent? I was hoping to rent maybe a small flat, something a bit westernized with living room and couch? I just don’t know what is available. Anyway, looking for suggestions for that and things to do, places to go, day trips, anything fun! Thank you for the tips!
