Warlocks summon and dominate demons from hell to assist them in combat.

But how effective in this strategy really when you consider who we are fighting.

We are fighting Prime Evils like Mephisto and other extremely high ranked manifestations of hell, meanwhile Warlocks are summoning lesser demons.

How can a Warlock realistically defeat prime evils with lesser demons?

Is there a lore element to Warlocks power that I am missing that allow them to be so powerful?
