So pretty much the title:

I love making bass house, ideas are flowing when i'm remixing something, but when I need to make a full song for scratch i'm really uninspired for the melody, as well as for the basses selection/arrangement.

it's like all my skillset disappears, and whatever I end up doing is of poor quality.

note: the end result is not "bad", it just sounds very bland, very uninspired
