Hello Reddit!
I am new to Reddit and didn’t plan to come here, but I am searching for a new home for my Great Pyrenees mix. She is 1 year old and her name is Maple.
My partner and I had a living situation change, and it has been causing her pretty extreme anxiety to the point where we don’t think it will get much better in our home. We can’t move; we just purchased a home. The neighborhood is still under construction and she is constantly in fight-or-flight because of it.
We also are hoping to find her a yard to let out her goofy energy and maybe find a sibling (she loves other dogs and cats). She is great with kids. A few words id use to describe her are goofy, anxious, energetic, aloof, and rowdy but also gentle.
We have exhausted all local resources (friends, family, fosters, shelters, rescues, etc) and are not wanting to surrender her. She deserves a great home.
Please let me know if anyone can be of help! We are willing to travel to adjacent states if needed for the right home. We are asking a very small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a good family. TIA!
